Then Jerico

It is a little known fact that lead vocalist Mark Shaw was the first artist I photographed when I first started out back in the early 1990’s.

At the time, he regularly played the acoustic room in a little venue called The Mean Fiddler in Harlesden.

It was also, following a Then Jerico² concert at The Bottom Line (now the Walkabout) on Shepherds Bush Green that I was offered the position of House Photographer there and, approx 18 months later, at the venue next door, the Shepherds Bush Empire. The rest, as they say, is history.

So, it is with great pleasure and much gratitude, that I am able to share with you the news today that Then Jerico have announced a reunion tour with all original band members to mark the 25th anniversary and digital re-release of their debut album ‘First (The Sound of Music)’

Then Jerico, the original line up of lead vocalist Mark Shaw, drummer Steve Wren, guitarist Rob Downes, bassist Jasper Stainthorpe, guitarist Scott Taylor will be playing  ‘THE BIG AREA’ in it’s entirety at O2 Academy venues across the UK this September.
