A Night to Remember

Or so they told me.
Not being  ‘down with the kids’ I didn’t have a clue, so I was happy to take the advice of one of the security supervisors about last nights Day to Remember gig at Brixton Academy.
Lots of crowd surfing he said. So I popped into the medics room to get my still healing wrist re-bandaged for protection against the anticipated crush.

Security were also briefed to do their best to protect me when the crowd started to hurl themselves stage bound 🙂

Being that I am old enough to have given birth to the excited little people in the audience, (first time in a long time I felt tall some were so young) it felt odd looking at the glow-in-the-dark bracelets and sloganed T-shirts on these predominantly prepubescent youths, remembering that my parents would never let me go to a ‘rock’ concert at that age and wondering, if I was their mother, whether I would either…
